COTTAR'S 1920'S CAMP

Cottar’s safari camp operates in the famous setting of the Masai mara national reserve in Kenya. This camp has provided luxury to safaris in Africa since 1919. It is located 1 km from the Masai mara national reserve and it has its own 6,000 acre private conservancy. The location of the camp enables easy access for day and night game drives to the Masai Mara game reserve and the conservancy, game walks, and cultural interactions with the Masai community.

The camp has 10 tents in total all with en suite bathrooms. The entire camp is situated to ensure total privacy for honeymooners and families with young children. The camp has two main mess tent areas for fine dining, drinking, reading and relaxing. The camp also has an amazing spa and pool area for relaxation after a game drive. Since 1919, cottar’s camp has been organizing safaris and accommodating visitors with personalized itineraries. The location of the camp is home to the largest concentration of terrestrial wildlife on earth - the immense wildebeest, zebra and plains game migration that numbers over to 2.5 million animals.
