It is located on the south western part of the Amboseli national park. The area is famous for the dramatic views of Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world, and the highest peak on the African continent. Game drives and nature walks are guided by the Masai since they have 80 years of guiding at tortilis. It has open game drives vehicle, the first camp to use open vehicles in a National Park.
Tents, family tents, private house and safari dinning are available with outstanding view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afternoon tea and homemade cakes and biscuits are served during the afternoon.
